	<description><![CDATA[<p data-end="91" data-start="0">If a <strong data-end="19" data-start="5">Money Bill</strong> is substantially amended by the Rajya Sabha, the following will happen:</p><h3 data-end="163" data-start="93">✅ Constitutional Position (Article 109 of the Indian Constitution)</h3><ul data-end="399" data-start="165">
	<li data-end="228" data-start="165">
	<p data-end="228" data-start="167">A <strong data-end="183" data-start="169">Money Bill</strong> can be introduced <strong data-end="227" data-start="202">only in the Lok Sabha</strong>.</p>
	</li>
	<li data-end="289" data-start="229">
	<p data-end="289" data-start="231">After passing in Lok Sabha, it is sent to <strong data-end="288" data-start="273">Rajya Sabha</strong>.</p>
	</li>
	<li data-end="344" data-start="290">
	<p data-end="344" data-start="292">Rajya Sabha <strong data-end="330" data-start="304">cannot amend or reject</strong> a Money Bill.</p>
	</li>
	<li data-end="399" data-start="345">
	<p data-end="399" data-start="347">It can only <strong data-end="383" data-start="359">make recommendations</strong> within 14 days.</p>
	</li>
</ul><hr data-end="404" data-start="401"><h3 data-end="463" data-start="406">📌 If Rajya Sabha Makes Amendments (Recommendations):</h3><ol data-end="733" data-start="465">
	<li data-end="542" data-start="465">
	<p data-end="542" data-start="468">The amended bill (with recommendations) is sent back to the <strong data-end="541" data-start="528">Lok Sabha</strong>.</p>
	</li>
	<li data-end="615" data-start="543">
	<p data-end="615" data-start="546"><strong data-end="587" data-start="546">Lok Sabha may either accept or reject</strong> any or all recommendations.</p>
	</li>
	<li data-end="733" data-start="616">
	<p data-end="733" data-start="619">If Lok Sabha <strong data-end="658" data-start="632">rejects the amendments</strong>, the bill is considered passed in the form originally passed by Lok Sabha.</p>
	</li>

	<p data-end="851" data-start="794">Those amendments are treated only as <strong data-end="850" data-start="831">recommendations</strong>.</p>
	</li>
	<li data-end="913" data-start="852">
	<p data-end="913" data-start="854">If Lok Sabha does not accept them, they have <strong data-end="912" data-start="899">no effect</strong>.</p>
	</li>

	<p data-end="970" data-start="916">There is <strong data-end="945" data-start="925">no joint sitting</strong> in case of a Money Bill.</p>
	</li>
	<li data-end="1012" data-start="971">
	<p data-end="1012" data-start="973">The <strong data-end="1011" data-start="977">decision of Lok Sabha is final</strong>.</p>
	</li>
</ul><hr data-end="1017" data-start="1014"><h3 data-end="1040" data-start="1019">Final Conclusion:</h3><p data-end="1228" data-is-last-node="" data-is-only-node="" data-start="1042">If the Money Bill is substantially amended by the Rajya Sabha, the amendments will not be binding. The Lok Sabha can reject them, and the bill will be deemed passed in its original form.</p>]]></description>
